Selangor FC will host Penang FC in Matchday 24 of the 2025/26 Super League at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, with kick-off scheduled for 9:00 PM.

At present, the Red Giants sit third in the league table with 46 points after 22 matches, recording 14 wins, four draws, and four defeats.

According to Selangor FC Head Coach Kim Pan-gon, the team has made thorough preparations ahead of this fixture and remains focused on achieving their season objectives.

“After the previous match, we had sufficient rest and conducted a detailed analysis of Penang FC. From there, we developed our game plan and implemented it during training sessions. We also do not have any major issues with injuries or suspensions, so we are able to remain fully focused. Our target is clear, which is to fight for second place, so this week’s match is very important for the team,” he explained regarding the current team situation.

At the same time, he acknowledged the strength of the opposition but remained confident in his squad’s ability.

“Penang are a strong team, both individually and collectively. They have dangerous players, and as a unit they are well-organised, passionate, and aggressive. We fully respect them and expect a competitive match. They will come to attack continuously, and we will do the same. We also know they are always capable of causing surprises against stronger teams, so we must be ready and give our best.
